To navigate, one either searches, browses, or randomly picks. VMDb supports all of those methods. Instruction how to use the tools are followed.

Search

• Click on "Search" tab at the top of the page.
• Enter a key word and a criteria to search by and click on "GO" button.
• Currently VMDb supports search by song title, album title, and artist title. Searching by song lyric will come soon.

Browse

Use "Browse" tab at the top of the page to browse.

Browse by Album Title, Song Title, or Artist Name
- Albums, Songs, Artists are categorized by the first letter of their names.
- The listing is sorted by un-accented album title (that is, ô becomes o).
- Other means everything that is not A-Z.


Browse by Selection
VMDb pre-selects songs and categorizes them in popular interests of Vietnamese music lovers. Click on "Selection" menu and choose a selection in the dropdown box.

Browse by Style
(will come sone) - Songs, artists, albums will be categorized by: genre, mood, situation, tempo, and preference (rating system).

Random Pick

Each time you go to the home page of VMDb (http://www.vmdb.com), you see a "Pick of The Day" section of 8 randomly-generated albums.
