I.2. Our MP3 quality

Possessing such a huge MP3 library is not the problem; the problem actually is to make sure that all of them are in good quality and follow a standard format. It took us months to assure that all of our MP3 files provide excellent audio performance; it also took us months to prepare and standardize all ID-tags to organize such a huge music library. All of our MP3's are encoded at 128 Kbps bit rate; that is, if they need to transfer back to regular audio CD (cda), it is in the same quality as the original audio CD. We prepare our MP3's ID-tags with: album, album cover art, performer, and genre - song writer; this helps grouping performances in every way. Please refer to the next section for how to organize your music based on our ID-tag.

I.3. Organize your MP3 library based on our ID-tag

Having more than 10,000 songs, it's a legitimate concern of how to organize the music library. For example, how to quickly pick out songs of "Nhac Tien Chien" genre written by Hoang Trong, or Tuan Ngoc's performances of Vu Thanh An's songs. Our ID-tag system help you do that in just a few seconds. In the following illustrations, we use MusicMatch software. Other music software (e.g. Real One) organize MP3 similarly by ID-tag. II. The Service

II.1. Service description

You can either send your hard drive to us or have us buy a hard drive for you. Our entire library contains 53.9 Gigabytes of MP3's total; therefore, we need at least an 80Gb hard drive. After copy our entire library to your hard drive, we will ship the hard drive to you and provide installation help if needed. We also provide entire-library-on-CD/DVD service. II.2. Prices

50 Gigabytes means 12,500 songs. If you download them, it would take you 850 hours (35 days) and cost at least $750.00. If you burn them on CD's, it would need 80 CD's and cost $560.00 plus shipping and about 25 hours to select the songs. II.3. Hard drive

Follow are some backgrounds on hard drives if you've never upgraded your hard drive before: There are two kinds of hard drives you can consider: internal and external (for simplicity, we will only consider IDE hard drives, which is cheaper and more popular). Internal hard drives are cheaper; you can buy a 60 Gb one for under $100 (versus $200 with external). However, installing it requires opening your computer box. Moving an internal hard drive from one to another computer is not as easy as an external one. If you are not a technical person, we recommend you buying an external hard drive. There are several kinds of external hard drives depending on their interfaces with your computer: USB1.1 (12 Mbps), USB2.0 (480 Mbps), or FireWire/IEEE-1394 (400 Mbps). External hard drives prices depend more on their interfaces (USB1.0, USB2.0, or FireWire) than on rotation speed (rpm). Note that USB2.0 is backward compatible with USB1.1; that is, USB2.0 hard drives also work with USB1.1 interfaces. Note that a 40-Gigabyte hard drive can only hold 36-38 Gb data; the rest is reserved for system use to manage those data.
